URBAN DYNAMISM AND THE SOCIAL NETWORK
With the changing landscape, we are confronted with the challenge of adapting to new orders and conditions. This scenario is magnified in the city, where the human system is bound by the limitations of the environment system; challenging the norms and standards accepted in the practice of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban and environmental planning. We are faced with the challenge of changing our spaces from permanent, fixed, and static into something flexible, ephemeral, and transitory built system. Inherent to this urban dynamism is the need to maintain different social connections in order to retain their pertinence, relevance, and context. As our cities become more interconnected and engaged, it has become even more necessary to share and explore how our cities evolve and address new platforms for communication and other generators of such dynamism and change.
